About the role
We are looking for a part‑time Community Assistant to support the property management team at Union Chapel Hill Student Living. The role involves administrative, leasing and resident‑service duties to help achieve occupancy and retention goals.
Key responsibilities
- Perform office admin tasks such as copying, filing resident files, preparing notices and organizing rent payments.
- Assist with leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, give property tours and show apartments.
- Generate lease paperwork, maintain lease files and support move‑in and move‑out processes, including mandatory “turn” dates.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach.
- Coordinate resident events, distribute flyers, newsletters, surveys and late notices.
- Serve as after‑hours liaison, respond to emergencies and cover at least one on‑call shift per week.
Required profile
- Availability to work mandatory move‑in/move‑out dates and on‑call shifts.
- Strong communication skills and a courteous, responsive attitude toward residents.
- Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
