About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello seeks qualified part‑time faculty to teach courses within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. This fixed‑term appointment offers an opportunity to contribute to undergraduate education in a vibrant, community‑focused campus.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate courses in arts, humanities, or social science disciplines.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with departmental standards.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Maintain office hours and provide academic advising as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in the relevant discipline or a closely related field; equivalent life experience may be considered.
