About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking part‑time adjunct faculty to teach courses within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. This fixed‑term appointment is on‑site and provides flexible teaching loads for qualified educators.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate courses and develop course syllabi.
• Deliver lectures, lead discussions, and facilitate classroom activities.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Maintain regular office hours for student advising and support.
• Adhere to university policies, grading standards, and academic integrity guidelines.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Master's degree in the discipline or a closely related field (or equivalent life experience).
