Partnership Tax Manager - International

About the role

PwC is seeking an experienced Partnership Tax Manager to join its International Tax team. In this managerial position you will lead the preparation of foreign, federal and state tax returns, oversee audits and guide strategic tax planning for the firm and its partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation and filing of foreign, federal and state tax returns and supporting schedules.
• Manage ongoing foreign tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
• Research, develop and document strategies to mitigate tax liabilities and manage risk.
• Supervise, develop and coach junior team members, providing performance feedback and technical guidance.
• Partner with senior leadership to ensure quality, timely delivery and adherence to PwC tax and audit standards.
• Address complex client issues, facilitate difficult conversations and escalate matters when necessary.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional with several years of experience in partnership and international tax.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage budgets and deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to identify system linkages and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills, able to influence and develop team members.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of international partnership tax regulations.
• Experience with foreign tax audit processes.
• Ability to research and document tax strategies.
