Part-Time Supervisor for NYC Pop‑Up Store

About the role

This temporary, part‑time position supports the launch and operation of the Beyond Yoga pop‑up store in New York City from August through January. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will act as manager on duty, ensuring smooth opening, closing, and daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the pop‑up store, handling cash and ensuring accurate cash reconciliation.
• Process shipments, set up the sales floor, manage markdowns and replenish inventory.
• Address customer concerns promptly and collaborate with the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager on escalated issues.
• Coach and supervise the team on selling culture, customer connection, and service standards.
• Drive performance metrics such as conversion, units per transaction, and sales per hour.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires.
• Partner with Home Office and local community partners to organize events and boost brand awareness.
• Model brand values and act as a visible service leader.
