Part-Time Substitute Educator (Afternoon)

About the role

Right At School delivers before‑ and after‑school extended day programs that blend learning activities with daily enrichment. As a Part‑Time Substitute Educator you will support children in a safe, engaging environment while helping them achieve program goals.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas and ensure team accountability.
• Prepare and lead structured fitness, educational and recreational activities that align with the curriculum.
• Model positive guidance, maintain classroom management and uphold safety protocols.
• Monitor the environment for hazards, document attendance and incidents, and communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.

Required profile

• Outstanding customer‑service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Team‑player with at least one year of experience working with children under 13.
• Ability to lift 25 lb, hold a valid driver’s license and meet Georgia state requirements (First Aid, CPR, 18+ age, high school diploma/GED).
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
