Part-Time Store Supervisor – Bethesda, MD

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Store Supervisor to join the Beyond Yoga boutique in Bethesda, MD. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will act as manager on duty, oversee daily operations and ensure a positive experience for customers and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the store, handling cash and ensuring accurate cash reconciliation.
• Process shipments, set the sales floor, manage markdowns and replenish inventory according to company standards.
• Address customer concerns, working with the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager to resolve escalated issues.
• Coach and supervise the sales team, reinforcing the brand’s selling culture and customer‑connection standards.
• Monitor and drive performance metrics such as conversion, units per transaction and sales per hour.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires.
• Collaborate with the Home Office and local community to plan events that increase brand awareness.
• Model the brand’s core values and act as a visible service leader on the floor.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience with a track record of supervising, coaching and training staff.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, diverse work environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform all essential job functions.
