Part-Time Sports Enrichment Coach

About the role

Amazing Athletes is a sports-based enrichment program for children, recently opening a branch in the Kansas City metro area. It is looking for energetic people to join its coaching team for a fun, part-time position running classes for children aged 2 to 6 years old. No prior sports experience is needed, but applicants must enjoy working with children.

Key responsibilities

• Teach classes in an organized, structured and fun way; training is provided.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with directors, teachers, parents and children.
• Maintain class rosters.
• Keep up energy and enthusiasm throughout every class.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation, as classes are held at different locations across the territory (Kansas City, Overland Park, Leawood, Prairie Village, Lenexa, Olathe and Lees Summit).
• Clean, valid driver's license and ability to pass state and FBI background checks (including DUI/DWI).
• Offer a 12-month commitment; attendance and punctuality are paramount.
• Excellent communication skills and understanding of responsibilities when in charge of children.
• Experience working with children aged 2.5 to 6 is an advantage.
