Part-Time Physical Therapist

About the role

A part-time Physical Therapist is needed at the Woodridge, Illinois location (2363 63rd St), working Monday to Friday with no weekend hours. The role combines clinical practice with evidence-based care, clinical instruction and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clinical knowledge and use evidence-based practices, and serve as a clinical instructor
• Practice employee and patient safety in daily work
• Support community awareness through events, lectures and other uses of clinical expertise
• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients using recommended techniques and standards
• Create, implement and adapt individualized treatment plans, including goals, activities and frequency
• Document, charge patients and teach patients and caregivers, including discharge recommendations
• Discharge patients when maximum benefit is reached or per standards and payer guidelines
• Take part in performance improvement and quality initiatives, and oversee physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides
• Maintain productivity standards and adjust work hours to patient needs; other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) license or certification
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
• Conversational English reading, writing and speaking
• Effective communication with patients, staff, physicians, nurses and administrators
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred

Pay range: $34.47 - $64.12.
