Part-Time Phlebotomy Adjunct Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Georgia Northwestern Technical College, seeks a part‑time Phlebotomy Adjunct Instructor to deliver evening courses at the Chattooga Adult Education Center and support other campuses as needed. This on‑site position runs from 4 PM to 10 PM and focuses on adult learners seeking practical skills in phlebotomy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver didactic instruction covering the fundamentals of phlebotomy and venipuncture.
• Supervise and assess hands‑on skill sessions for students.
• Provide academic advisement and support to adult learners.
• Travel to additional campuses to meet operational requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Dean of Nursing and Health Technologies.

Required profile

• Diploma in LPN or Medical Lab Technology, or an Associate’s Degree/Diploma in an allied health field.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant, Medical Lab Technician, Phlebotomist, RN, or LPN with at least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to work evenings in a classroom environment and occasional light‑to‑medium lifting.
