Part-Time Operations Staff - Raising Cane's River Center

About the role

Legends Global is hiring part-time Operations Staff for the Raising Cane's River Center in Baton Rouge. This is a labor-intensive, part-time position with non-standard hours, suited to people who want to help prepare a large venue for events such as concerts, trade shows, ceremonies or banquets. The role involves heavy labor and day-to-day facility support.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and remove event layouts, including moving chairs, walls, barricades, staging, tables and other furnishings and equipment.
• Perform physical labor such as carrying, lifting and assembling event items.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, transport trash and waste to the disposal area and replenish supplies.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs on event setup and cleaning equipment with hand and power tools.
• Operate forklifts, scissor, vertical and boom lifts and other motorized vehicles properly; may use specialized facility tools after training under a supervisor.
• Carry out minor housekeeping or cleaning duties when needed and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Professional appearance and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 50 to 75 lbs, walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and push or pull heavy objects.
