Part-Time Medical Assistant – ENT (South Ogden)

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our ENT practice in South Ogden. You will support physicians and patients by preparing for exams, handling documentation, and providing front‑office assistance in a busy, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interview patients, record medical history, verify information and reconcile medication lists.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with testing, injections, blood draws and serum mixing.
• Document office visits using electronic templates and ensure thorough medical records.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, post copays and perform other front‑office duties.
• Tri‑age patient messages, coordinate with physicians, insurance companies and pharmacies for prior authorizations.
• Maintain clean exam rooms, inventory supplies and ensure equipment is operational.
• Travel between the main South Ogden clinic and satellite locations (Farr West, Brigham).

Required profile

• 6‑12 months experience as a Medical Assistant or a relevant certification.
• Current CPR certification (or obtain within 4 months of hire).
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and ICD‑10 coding.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic health‑record systems.
• Ability to work in a team, communicate with patients of all ages and travel to multiple sites.
