Part-time Limited-Term Faculty – Interactive Design

About the role

Kennesaw State University is seeking part‑time, limited‑term faculty members to teach Interactive Design courses within its Department of English. The position supports undergraduate instruction and contributes to the department’s mission of fostering creative and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate Interactive Design curriculum, including lectures, labs, and project‑based learning.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessment tools aligned with departmental standards.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students pursuing design‑related pathways.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and service activities.
• Engage in scholarly or creative work that enhances the university’s research profile.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Interactive Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate level, preferably in a university setting.
