About the role

The Leasing Professional supports Greenwood at Katy by managing marketing, leasing, and renewal activities to meet occupancy and revenue goals. This part‑time position ensures a smooth experience for new and existing residents throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospects.
• Attention to detail for lease documentation and apartment readiness.
• Ability to stay informed about local market trends and competitor activity.
• Effective communication skills for both in‑person interactions and written correspondence.

Required skills
