About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Part‑Time Forklift Operator to join its Gallipolis Ferry, WV service center. The position works the 3rd shift, Monday‑Friday, and starts at $20.05 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Handle loading and unloading tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work quickly under pressure.
- Previous forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or LTL setting.
Required skills
- Proficient forklift operation.
- Ability to read manifests and interpret shipping documents.
- Comfort using a computer display for data entry and tracking.
