Part-time Faculty – Computer Science (AI/ML)

About the role

Kennesaw State University’s Department of Computer Science is seeking qualified candidates for part‑time, limited‑term faculty positions for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Appointees will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence and machine learning, across face‑to‑face, hybrid, or fully online formats.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction in assigned computer science courses.
• Develop and update course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and service activities as required.

Required profile

• Earned graduate degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, and core computer science concepts.
• Ability to teach in face‑to‑face, hybrid, or online environments.
