Part-Time Development Director

About the role

Phileo Shared Services is looking for a Part‑Time Development Director to lead fundraising strategy and execution across its network of Christian school partners. The role blends remote work with occasional in‑person meetings, offering flexible scheduling while supporting multiple schools.

Key responsibilities

• Review and optimize development office processes at each partner school and build an annual development calendar.
• Maintain regular donor touchpoints, support cultivation meetings, and design recognition and retention strategies.
• Lead outreach events such as the fall informational breakfast and develop seasonal and year‑end giving campaigns.
• Identify grant opportunities, assist with writing, and keep organized records of submissions and reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of fundraising or development experience, preferably in education or nonprofit sectors.
• Proven success in annual funds, donor relations, and event‑based fundraising.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and strategic planning abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and adapt to varied school cultures.
• Passion for Christian education and personal commitment to biblical values.
