Part-Time Cashier – Afternoon Shift

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Cashier to join our Hialeah store on an afternoon part‑time schedule. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, ensuring a smooth and pleasant checkout experience while upholding Sedano’s safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide courteous service.
• Accurately scan items, weigh produce, and operate the POS cash register.
• Handle all forms of payment, give correct change, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Perform cash counts at the start and end of each shift.
• Bag purchases, assist with cart loading, and return discarded items to shelves.
• Conduct price checks and keep checkout equipment clean and functional.
• Follow store policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong customer‑service focus.
• Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines.
• Availability for afternoon shifts on a part‑time basis.

Required skills
