The Paratransit Services Dispatcher ensures smooth, on‑time transportation for passengers by coordinating drivers, operators, and vehicles. This position is central to delivering high‑quality customer service and maintaining accurate operational records.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate standby or extra‑board operators during absences, high volume periods, or emergencies.
• Maintain attendance and vehicle assignment logs, considering maintenance schedules and capacity needs.
• Communicate continuously with operators, providing customer details, cancellations, and routing assistance.
• Monitor trip status in real time, adjusting assignments to ensure on‑time performance.
• Document daily events, service adjustments, and performance data accurately.
• Collaborate with operations staff to resolve scheduling or passenger issues.
