Paratransit Dispatcher / Reservationist

About the role

Transdev is looking for a Paratransit Dispatcher / Reservationist to oversee road service operations and provide customer support for clients in Jefferson, LA. The role involves coordinating with operators, monitoring trip performance, and handling emergency situations to ensure safe and reliable transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Track assigned carriers’ trip performance, on‑time departures, incidents and other metrics.
• Respond to customer inquiries, cancellations, no‑shows and missed trips.
• Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators and act as liaison with emergency services.
• Review daily route performance and proactively address issues affecting service quality.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of dispatching experience.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer‑service abilities.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts or varying schedules.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical requirements.
