Paraprofessional/GED Proctor

About the role

The Paraprofessional/GED Proctor supports the Adult Education department at University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College by administering a variety of standardized assessments and maintaining accurate student records. This position ensures testing integrity both on‑site and at partner agencies while providing essential orientation and retention support for students.

Key responsibilities

• Administer TABE, official GED, Readiness, and other assessments (e.g., NHA, PSI, AR TMU/Headmaster).
• Enter and maintain student data, attendance, and assessment results in the LACES system.
• Maintain all student records and conduct student orientation activities.
• Perform retention activities as assigned.
• Proctor tests at off‑site locations and partner agencies.
• Obtain and renew test‑proctoring certifications annually or as required.
• Serve as Lead Test Proctor and backup to the Lead Paraprofessional, handling ABE, ASE, IET, and ELL intake.
• Perform additional paraprofessional duties as needed.
