Paralegal – Commercial Contracts

About the role

Stellar Health is expanding its legal team and seeks a Paralegal to work directly with the lead attorney. You will support a value‑based care technology platform and its risk‑bearing entities by handling first‑pass drafting of a wide range of commercial contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare first‑pass redlines for commercial contracts, including health‑plan service agreements, provider network participation agreements, vendor contracts, and data‑use/business associate agreements.
• Identify and flag key issues, unusual terms, and risk areas for attorney review.
• Support negotiations by preparing comparison charts, tracking open issues, and maintaining version control.
• Collaborate with growth, compliance, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Coordinate with health‑plan customers, provider networks, vendors, and external counsel.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a knack for spotting process‑improvement opportunities.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple contract types and deal structures.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing health‑tech environment.
