Packaging Room Supervisor – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Packaging Room Supervisor on the 2nd shift leads a team that manually assembles and packages industrial fastener kits. This full‑time position runs Monday‑Friday, 3:00 pm‑11:30 pm, and requires strict adherence to start and finish times.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise packaging team members, ensuring kits are assembled to exact customer specifications.
• Select correct components, package sizes, and apply bespoke labeling for each kit.
• Count, measure, and verify parts using scales or manual methods to achieve 100% accuracy.
• Form and seal boxes, bags, or skin packs with heavy‑duty staplers, tape, and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean work area, removing unnecessary product or packaging materials.
• Meet productivity targets set by the Packaging Lead or Manager.

Required profile

• Ability to supervise and hold team members accountable.
• Basic mental arithmetic and strong attention to detail.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly and stand for long periods.
• Positive, deadline‑driven attitude with a teamwork ethic.

Required skills

• Use of scales for precise counting.
• Operation of heavy‑duty staplers, sealers, and pallet jacks.
• Selection of appropriate box, bag, or skin‑pack sizes.
