Packaging Operator – Craft Brewery

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Packaging Operator to join our craft brewery team. Reporting to the Packaging Manager, you will handle all stages of the packaging process, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate bottling, canning and kegging lines safely while following SOPs.
• Perform quality control checks on finished product and bright beer tanks, documenting results accurately.
• Report production quantities and maintain clean, sanitary equipment.
• Conduct set‑up, clean‑up and shutdown of packaging lines.
• Operate forklifts and track raw materials throughout each run.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor mechanical troubleshooting.
• Cross‑train teammates and support other departments as needed.
• Participate in tasting panels when required.

Required profile

• Ability to lift 55 lb and safely move 165 lb repeatedly.
• Comfort working in loud, wet environments with hot and cold conditions.
• Stand 8‑10 hours per shift and adapt to irregular hours.
• Experience in a warehouse or packaging environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
