Package Engineer I

About the role

As a Package Engineer I you will support the development and production of Bath & Body Works home and body‑care products. Working as an individual contributor, you will collaborate with design, merchandising, operations, quality, safety, regulatory, sourcing and vendor teams to ensure packaging meets functional, regulatory and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for primary, secondary and tertiary packaging development.
• Execute tactical packaging tasks, system data entry and BOM creation.
• Manage end‑to‑end packaging projects with cross‑functional partners and strategic vendors.
• Develop components for new products and designs, and support line trials to meet filler and quality requirements.
• Coordinate testing, pre‑qualification, validation, tooling and material selection.
• Maintain packaging specifications, SOP standards and component sample requests.
• Collect information and samples for R&D and packaging test labs.
• Participate in supplier relations and represent packaging in business meetings.

• Strong organizational skills for project tracking and documentation.
• Interest in learning the full package development lifecycle.
• Willingness to contribute to talent management activities such as onboarding and peer training.
