About the role

The Overnight Front Desk Concierge provides calm, attentive service to guests during overnight hours at ROOST White House, a boutique apartment‑style hotel in downtown Washington, DC. As the primary point of contact at night, you ensure safety, comfort, and a seamless experience for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Manage check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservation inquiries during overnight shifts.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns.
• Monitor building access and maintain a secure, calm environment.
• Conduct property walkthroughs and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Handle overnight phone calls, emails, and guest communications.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and nightly reports.
• Support light administrative tasks and prepare materials for the morning team.
• Keep lobby and front desk areas clean, organized, and guest‑ready.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year front desk, concierge, or guest‑service experience (hotel or luxury residential preferred).
• Strong communication skills with a naturally warm, guest‑focused demeanor.
• Ability to stay composed, professional, and attentive during quiet or high‑pressure moments.
