Outside Services Attendant – Golf Operations

About the role

The Outside Services Attendant supports the Golf Operations Department at Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club, delivering a seamless experience for members and guests. This position is based at the club outside Austin, Texas, and involves a mix of service, equipment handling, and clubhouse support.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily with Assistant Golf Professionals and the Outside Services Manager about events and operations.
• Clean and wash golf carts according to club procedures.
• Maintain clean towels, including washing, drying, and folding.
• Set up members' and guests' bags for play and store them properly.
• Greet members and guests courteously, load bags, and move carts to the staging area.
• Thoroughly clean players' golf clubs.
• Assist the Practice Range Attendant with hitting station setup and collect golf balls from the chipping area and range.
• Restock buckets and pick ranges as needed.

Required profile

• Prior experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and long hours as business demands.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and stay calm during busy periods.
• Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 lb, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
