Outside Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join Rexel USA in Tyler, Texas. The role focuses on driving profitable sales growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers across the electrical distribution market.

Key responsibilities

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate Rexel’s electrical and communication products to customers.
• Identify and acquire new customers while expanding product sales to existing accounts.
• Collaborate with leadership, suppliers, and internal teams to plan and execute sales strategies and enter new markets.
• Assist customers with product selection, leveraging internal specialists and supplier representatives.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, tailoring solutions to meet specific business needs.
• Prepare quotations, manage the purchasing lifecycle, and coordinate with credit and finance to resolve payment issues.
• Gather and report market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and trends.
• Participate in professional development, training sessions, and supplier seminars to enhance product knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of sales calls, schedules, and expense reports.
• Utilize digital tools and customer solutions to gain a competitive advantage.
