Outreach Senior Advisor – New Orleans

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking an Outreach Senior Advisor to lead a strategic outreach topic in New Orleans. In this senior position you will shape research, content, programming and public‑facing initiatives that advance the Bank’s mission and enhance community understanding of economics and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for a designated outreach area (e.g., micro‑ and macroeconomics, financial capability, museum curation).
• Develop and execute a comprehensive outreach strategy, including research, content creation, program design and outcome measurement.
• Lead project management activities: define specifications, allocate resources, organize teams, track progress and report results.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and produce high‑quality educational materials and publications for the Bank and System.
• Coordinate small teams to deliver public programs and support museum collections, exhibits and tours.
• Represent the Bank on district and system‑wide work groups and initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong strategic agility, decision‑making and project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading small teams and managing public‑facing programs.
