Outreach and Engagement Coordinator

About the role

The Outreach and Engagement Coordinator will support the College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources by designing and delivering programs that connect current students, prospective students, and alumni. This role enhances recruitment, retention, and community involvement through events and outreach initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute student‑focused events such as competitions, field days, and educational programs.
• Coordinate recruitment and retention activities, including campus tours and outreach to prospective students.
• Organize alumni events and maintain ongoing alumni relations.
• Manage and update contact databases for students, prospects, and alumni.
• Travel out‑of‑town for events and represent the college at external functions.
• Assist with fundraising and capacity‑building projects for the college.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a field related to forestry, agriculture, or natural resources.
• Experience with youth and environmental education programs is desired.
• Strong communication, social media, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse audience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
