Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist for its Sports Med and Rehab Palm Coast location (Suite 101, 120 Cypress Edge Dr, Palm Coast, FL 32164). The schedule is either the opening shift (6am-3pm or 7am-4pm) or the closing shift (10am-7pm), Monday to Friday. The anticipated minimum pay rate is $36 per hour, with a pay range of $66,268.80 to $123,281.60.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Document and charge accurately, completely and on time, using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy.
• Market to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Support consumer marketing and public awareness through community events, educational lectures and speaking.

Required profile

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience treating orthopedic patients (preferred).
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP); education must meet the licensing or certification standards of the certifying body.
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification (required).
