Outpatient Lymphedema Physical Therapist

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring an Outpatient Lymphedema Physical Therapist for its Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation center in Lake Mary, Florida. The position is part-time, day shift, Monday to Friday, with possible travel to the Altamonte Springs location. The anticipated minimum pay rate is $35 per hour, with a stated pay range of $66,268.80 to $123,281.60.

Key responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations of patients with lymphedema using recommended techniques and standards.
• Document and charge accurately, completely and on time, using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department policy.
• Support marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Support consumer marketing and public awareness through community events, educational lectures and speaking.
• Adjust working hours to help other centers and programs when patient census changes, as approved by management.

Required profile

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP); a doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification (required).
• Education and licensure levels set by the certifying body.
