About the role
The PPRL Outbound Phone Survey Researcher conducts telephone interviews on a variety of business, health, political and economic topics. This remote, seasonal position allows you to work from home while contributing to important research data.
Key responsibilities
- Dial assigned phone numbers and conduct outbound surveys following a scripted questionnaire.
- Accurately record respondents' answers in a computer‑based data collection system.
- Maintain a quiet, interruption‑free environment during shifts.
- Adhere to scheduled shift times and meet weekly hour requirements (12‑20 hours).
- Follow all procedural guidelines and data‑entry standards.
Required profile
- Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
- Clear speaking voice with good pronunciation.
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a conversational tone.
- Ability to read scripts verbatim and follow set procedures.
- Previous retail or customer‑service experience.
- Resume submission required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard computer operations.
- Reliable Ethernet/broadband internet connection.
- Headset with microphone compatible with a home computer.
