Outbound Phone Survey Researcher (Remote, Seasonal)

About the role

The PPRL Outbound Phone Survey Researcher conducts telephone interviews on a variety of business, health, political and economic topics. This remote, seasonal position allows you to work from home while contributing to important research data.

Key responsibilities

• Dial assigned phone numbers and conduct outbound surveys following a scripted questionnaire.
• Accurately record respondents' answers in a computer‑based data collection system.
• Maintain a quiet, interruption‑free environment during shifts.
• Adhere to scheduled shift times and meet weekly hour requirements (12‑20 hours).
• Follow all procedural guidelines and data‑entry standards.

Required profile

• Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
• Clear speaking voice with good pronunciation.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a conversational tone.
• Ability to read scripts verbatim and follow set procedures.
• Previous retail or customer‑service experience.
• Resume submission required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard computer operations.
• Reliable Ethernet/broadband internet connection.
• Headset with microphone compatible with a home computer.
