Orthopedic Technician – TOSH Specialty Clinic

About the role

The Orthopedic Technician will join the TOSH Specialty Clinic at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, providing essential support to orthopedic providers and patients. This full‑time, day‑shift position is based in Little Rock and focuses on delivering high‑quality clinical and ancillary services within a fast‑paced orthopedic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare examination and surgical rooms by setting up orthopedic instruments and equipment.
• Assist orthopedic surgeons and clinicians during patient examinations, procedures, and post‑operative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of treatments.
• Monitor inventory of supplies, order replacements, and ensure equipment is sterilized and functional.
• Provide patient education on post‑procedure protocols and answer basic questions.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Relevant certification or experience in orthopedic technology or a related medical ancillary field.
• Ability to work day shifts in an onsite clinical setting.
