Orthopedic Instruments Sales Representative - Harrisburg/Lancaster

About the role

Stryker is hiring a field-based Orthopedic Instruments Sales Representative for the Harrisburg/Lancaster area. You will sell medical devices and surgical products within your assigned territory, influencing surgeons, operating room staff, SPD, supply chain and hospital administrators, and taking full ownership of your business to meet and exceed sales goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve and exceed quota
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, SPD, supply chain and hospital administrators
• Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations and trials in clinical and operating room environments
• Support and lead product launches, conversions and implementations
• Deliver in-services and training to clinical staff on proper product use
• Identify and advance new business opportunities and pipeline growth
• Analyze territory performance, track sales metrics and report results to leadership
• Provide real-time problem solving in fast-paced surgical environments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of outside sales, B2B sales or territory management experience
• Preferred: 2+ years in medical device, healthcare or B2B outside sales with quota responsibility
• Proven track record of quota attainment, revenue growth or territory expansion
• Experience selling into hospitals, physicians, healthcare systems, payroll or B2B capital sales
• Demonstrated leadership or high-performance experience through athletics, internships or extracurricular activities
• Valid driver's license; travel within the territory is required, including possible overnight stays

Required skills

• Able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
• Manual dexterity and coordination to handle equipment and materials
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
