Order Management Lead – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Order Management professional to lead strategy and execution for semiconductor equipment in the Austin region. You will drive process improvements, ensure staffing levels meet demand, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Order Management strategies for the assigned country/region.
• Identify gaps and improvement needs in processes and systems.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Assess training needs and communicate them to management for support.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet customer and regional volume demands.

• Demonstrates in‑depth understanding of order management concepts and related job families.
• Applies industry knowledge to contribute to business objectives.
• Leads a homogeneous team, adapting plans to meet service and operational challenges.
• Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems.
