Order Entry Associate

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Order Entry Associate to join Nassau Candy, a leading importer and distributor of candy and specialty foods. In this fast‑paced role you will ensure customer orders are entered accurately and processed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the system promptly and accurately.
• Review incoming orders for completeness, resolve discrepancies and escalate issues when needed.
• Monitor open orders and follow them through to successful completion.
• Stay updated on new products, promotions and internal processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Shipping and other departments to maintain smooth order flow.
• Assist with additional departmental tasks or projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in order entry, data entry or a similar administrative role.
• High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude.
• Professional communication skills via phone and email.
• Team‑oriented with a positive, collaborative approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with EDI platforms (preferred).
