Order Entry & Accuracy Specialist

About the role

Core Home is looking for a detail‑oriented Order Entry & Accuracy Specialist to join its housewares distribution team. You will be responsible for entering, validating, and maintaining purchase orders with a focus on speed, precision, and proactive problem‑solving.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and validate all purchase orders in the ERP system with zero tolerance for errors.
• Review and confirm order details, pricing, and item codes before submission.
• Identify inconsistencies, connect related data points, and resolve issues proactively.
• Communicate promptly with customers to confirm receipt and address discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records in the system.
• Generate and review order‑accuracy reports, correcting any inconsistencies.
• Support the sales team with precise administrative tasks related to order processing.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in order entry, order fulfillment, or customer service.
• Experience as a paralegal, healthcare note taker, or Rx associate is a strong plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and customer‑centric attitude.
• Results‑driven, time‑bound, with strong ownership to follow up and follow through.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP systems or order‑management software.
