- Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair of vacuum, gas‑delivery, and pneumatic sub‑assemblies.
- Inspect welds visually and with precision measuring and leak‑detection instruments; document and correct defects.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, material usage, and progress in the production tracking system.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot orbital welding heads and power supplies; report equipment issues.

- High school diploma or GED; technical diploma or associate degree in welding technology or related trade preferred.
- 3‑5 years of hands‑on welding experience in manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, or high‑purity environments; orbital/TIG experience a plus.
- Current or attainable welder certification such as AWS D1.1/D1.6 or ASME Section IX.
- Ability to obtain or maintain OSHA 10 training.
Required skills
- Orbital GTAW/TIG welding of stainless‑steel tubing (typically 1/8" to 1/2" O.D.).
- Manual TIG and MIG welding proficiency.
- Reading and applying AWS welding symbols, WPS, and engineering drawings/blueprints.
- Use of leak detectors, vacuum pumps, and precision measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of high‑purity semiconductor cleanliness standards (e.g., SEMI F19/F20).
- Basic computer literacy for data entry into MES/ERP systems.
What we offer
- Salary range $23.00 – $31.40 per hour.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and eligibility for bonus and stock awards.
