Operator III – Production Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Operator III to join its Production Management team at the Houston manufacturing facility. The role focuses on advanced production tasks, operating complex machinery, and supporting maintenance activities to ensure high efficiency and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Execute advanced production tasks such as assembly, material forming, processing, treating, and packaging according to specifications.
• Follow detailed production schedules and operate complex manufacturing equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep production lines running smoothly.
• Participate in quality checks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to GxP regulations and SOPs.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate fluently in English.
• Willingness to work night shifts (Monday‑Thursday, 4:45 PM – 3:15 AM CST).
• Commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements and continuous improvement.
