Operator II – Production Technical Operations (Night Shift)

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Operator II for its Production Technical Operations team in the Phaco Secondaries department. The role works night shifts (Sunday‑Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM EST) at the Sinking Spring, PA facility, supporting the manufacturing of eye‑care products.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment to meet specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products and discard or re‑manufacture faulty items.
• Handle repetitive assembly operations to exacting standards while maintaining process efficiency.
• Maintain accurate daily production records and complete batch documentation for performance analysis.
• Observe output quality, adjust equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate resources and schedules to align work orders with business objectives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication in English.
• Availability to work the night shift schedule (Sunday‑Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM EST).
• On‑site work at the Sinking Spring location.
• Sponsorship and relocation not available.
