Operator II – Production Technical Operations (2nd Shift)

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Operator II to join its Production Technical Operations team on the 2nd shift (Monday‑Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM EST). The role is part of Alcon’s Manufacturing function, supporting the Phaco Secondaries department to produce eye‑care products for global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Handle complex manual or operational tasks to ensure smooth, efficient processes.
• Manage resources and schedules to meet volume, cost, waste, and quality targets.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality, identify faulty products, and initiate re‑manufacture when needed.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and align operations with business objectives.
• Follow GxP regulations, SOPs, and documentation requirements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication in English.
• Availability to work the 2nd shift (Monday‑Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM EST) onsite.
• Sponsorship or relocation not available.
