Operator Assistant - Days

About the role

Valgroup is seeking an Operator Assistant for the Days shift at its manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio. You will support production of shrink‑bag packaging by operating equipment, handling materials, and ensuring product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machine equipment on the production line.
• Operate a forklift (training provided) to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Package products according to specifications.
• Enter production data into the ERP system.
• Perform quality testing and inspections.
• Assist with additional projects and tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Commitment to safe work behaviors.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift 35‑50 lb and stand/walk throughout the shift.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Machine operation.
• ERP data entry.
