Operations Supervisor - The Pavilion at Star Lake

About the role

The Operations Supervisor at The Pavilion at Star Lake supervises all activities within the venue operations department, with a focus on the guest experience and day-to-day operations. The position reports directly to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training and counseling of event and warehouse staff.
• Directly manage event day staff and interact with customers.
• Maintain and control high-volume food and beverage inventory, including physical audits, research and reconciliations.
• Train, educate and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and compliance with corporate procedures.
• Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
• Ensure cash handling procedures are documented and enforced, and support the General Manager with staff supervision.
• Work in an open-air environment in all weather conditions and work all venue events, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management and prioritization; ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Fluent English and ability to work in an open-air environment in all climates.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds up and down stairs or ramps, with sufficient mobility for production tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling.
• Meets state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service.
• Follows and encourages safety policies, completes safety training and reports safety incidents in the company's risk management system on the same day.
