Operations Supervisor - Credit Union 1 Amphitheater

About the role

The Operations Supervisor supervises all activities within the venue operations department, with a focus on the guest experience and day-to-day operations. The position reports directly to the General Manager and covers the venue's events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training and counseling of event and warehouse staff.
• Directly manage event day staff and interact with customers.
• Maintain and control high-volume food and beverage inventory, including physical audits, research and reconciliations.
• Train, educate and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and compliance with corporate procedures.
• Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
• Ensure cash handling procedures are documented and enforced, and support the General Manager with staff supervision.
• Follow and encourage safety policies, complete safety training, and report safety incidents through the company's risk management system.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail, organized, with good time management and prioritizing skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Fluent English and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds up and down stairs or ramps, and to perform production tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling for long periods.
• Meets state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service.
• Willingness to work all venue events, including nights, weekends and holidays.

• Preferred: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Pay rate: $22.00 per hour.
