Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager supports and drives the development and implementation of programs that improve the operational and financial performance of Greystar’s property management portfolio. Acting as a bridge between strategy and execution, the role standardises processes, supports site teams and ensures every property meets Greystar’s performance standards. This high‑visibility position works closely with senior leaders across the Southern California portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement initiatives that enhance operational and financial performance across the portfolio.
• Standardise processes, procedures and policies to ensure consistency at the property level.
• Support site teams in meeting Greystar’s operational and financial standards.
• Interpret data and key performance indicators to drive portfolio‑level efficiency.
• Leverage AI and technology tools to create workflow enhancements and efficiencies.
• Review and analyse financial statements, identify performance gaps and support region‑wide strategies.
• Lead process‑improvement pilots and operational projects from scoping through completion.
• Conduct briefings, site visits and operational reviews to surface best practices and drive consistency.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience onsite as a Community Manager or a similar role.
• Proven ability to interpret data and KPIs to improve operational efficiency.
• Experience developing and supporting strategies, programs and initiatives that drive operational excellence.
• Comfort with tech‑forward and AI tools to enhance workflows.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including reviewing statements and identifying gaps.
• Proficiency in Yardi and Onesite platforms.
