Operations Management Manager II – Weekend Shift

About the role

The Manager II, Operations Management – Weekend Shift will lead a production team in Austin, ensuring high‑quality manufacturing of capital equipment while supporting a supportive work culture.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees across assembly, inspection, test and final test functions for capital equipment manufacturing.
• Set daily team priorities, develop work schedules, assign tasks and manage shift handoffs.
• Organize and facilitate pre‑shift, safety and other team meetings.
• Track and improve performance metrics such as cycle time, safety incidents and equipment efficiency.
• Coordinate resources with service and customer groups to meet production schedules.
• Drive Lean, safety and quality initiatives and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to supervise day‑to‑day work and coach employee development.
• Strong judgment to resolve production schedule issues and prioritize daily tasks.
• Understanding of how team activities impact upstream and downstream processes.
