Operations Management Consultant – Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking an Operations Management Consultant at Manager level to support its Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) practice. The role involves helping clients optimise operational efficiency, streamline processes and improve business performance across the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client needs and design operational strategies that enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, execution and delivery, ensuring high‑quality outcomes on time and within scope.
• Coach and develop team members, leveraging individual strengths and managing performance.
• Partner with senior leadership to maintain collective ownership of quality, timelines and deliverables.
• Address conflicts, conduct difficult conversations with stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary.
• Uphold PwC professional standards, code of conduct and independence requirements.
• Contribute to client proposals, stay current on industry trends and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations consulting within Asset & Wealth Management or related financial services.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Integrity, authenticity and the ability to communicate PwC’s purpose and values.
