Operations & Maintenance Technician I/II/III

About the role

Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Operations & Maintenance Technician is responsible for assessing, maintaining, and optimizing plant equipment at Anaergia’s Rhode Island Bioenergy Facility. The role ensures the plant meets key performance indicators while supporting a world‑class safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot combined heat and power engines and the 2 MWh battery bank.
• Develop and uphold safety procedures, ensuring all employees and contractors follow strict safety standards.
• Maintain an immaculate compliance record with all regulatory and governmental agencies.
• Support the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and facility policies aligned with the company’s vision and strategy.
• Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and achieving the facility’s annual commercial targets.
• Monitor plant performance metrics and recommend improvements to meet KPIs.

Required profile

• Experience in operations and maintenance of industrial or bioenergy facilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop and enforce SOPs, work instructions, and policy frameworks.
• Competence in supporting financial reporting and budgetary processes.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with management and contractors.
