Operations Engineer – Energy

About the role

Infravision is seeking an Operations Engineer to act as the bridge between engineering, R&D and field teams. The role focuses on the design, modification, maintenance and field integration of mechanical, hydraulic and ground‑based systems that enable drone‑assisted power‑line stringing. You will work hands‑on in utility construction sites, turning concepts into safe, reliable equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Support concept development and mechanical design of robotic products, ground hardware and field systems used in aerial stringing operations.
• Design, modify and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems for drone‑enabled utility construction.
• Develop maintenance protocols and equipment improvement plans for stringing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, aviation, safety and field teams to ensure system performance in demanding environments.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background with strong technical curiosity.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving ability in fast‑moving, field‑focused environments.
• Focus on safety, reliability and productivity in utility construction projects.
